Excellence is the unlimited ability to improve the quality of what you have to offer.
-Rick Pitino
In 2004, the Newton Dental Associates office, home to Diamond Smile Design, underwent a full rehabilitation, creating a top-of-the-line facility. Patient treatment and comfort were the top concerns during the design process. The layout maximizes provider efficiency and treatment quality. Ergonomic patient chairs and a peaceful office décor were chosen to influence a calm feeling. We continue to search for and add elements to enhance the quality and ease of patient visits.
Technology
At Diamond Smile Design, we are dedicated to providing our patients with the best technology in the field. Unlike some offices, we do not buy into fads, but instead research, pursue and implement high-quality technology to improve patient care.
Digital X-rays
The digital x-ray system at Diamond Smile Design emits only minimal radiation, the very lowest levels possible. The system produces large on-screen views of x-rays which give patients substantially better views of their own x-rays. The digital format makes the records easy to send and share with your other providers.
Computers
Each operatory has a computer connected to a secure intra-office network. Records are easily shared with consulted Newton Dental Associates providers. Communication between the front office staff and providers is improved, reducing the length of visits. Internet access is also available at the front desk for instant access to insurance information from several companies. In 2007, Newton Dental Associates became a paperless office, providing eco-friendly benefits and increased security for our patients’ personal information.
Cameras
Both intraoral cameras and professional quality photography equipment are available to our doctors. In addition to aiding the treatment plan process, by providing visual elements for patients and doctors to use when sharing ideas, the photographs can improve communication with our dental lab and reduce hassles with insurance companies by providing both with supplemental information to their standard requests.
