Improving Function

Form follows function - that has been misunderstood. Form and function should be one, joined in a spiritual union.
-Frank Lloyd Wright

Everyone knows cosmetic treatments can improve your self-esteem, but cosmetic dental improvements often have additional and equally advantageous health benefits. Genetics, exposure to acids, accidents, and caries are just some of the long list of problems that can plague a person by dulling your smile and causing dental health issues. Side effects like jaw pain, food traps and shifting teeth can often be addressed in concert with cosmetic improvements. At Diamond Smile Design, we set our sights on helping each of our patients obtain a healthy and beautiful smile that will last.

Invisalign
Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment, which allows patients to straight their teeth without bands, brackets or wires. Invisalign instruments are invisible, removable and comfortable, allowing you to live your life virtually unaffected by the process of your dental treatment. Dr. Anna Berik, a certified Invisalign provider, often recommends this treatment to patients seeking both health and cosmetic improvements to their smiles.

Crowns
Dental crowns are placed to maintain the structural integrity of individual teeth. Crowns are created in the same size and shape of ideal natural teeth to keep your jaw and bite aligned. All-porcelain crowns are available to create an appealing appearance in addition to strengthening a tooth.

Fixed Bridge
Teeth are designed to complement each other. When on e is missing, companion teeth lose support and start shifting. A bridge recreates a normal bite and prevents undue stress on other teeth. Also, by supporting your lips and cheeks like natural teeth, bridges can prevent your face from sinking, which causes a person to look older.

Dental Implants
Dental implants are an ideal option for patients with sufficiently healthy gums and bone support who are missing one or more teeth. Like fixed bridges, implants prevent other teeth from shifting that can result in crooked teeth. Implants look and function more like natural teeth than many other restorative treatments options, providing patients with improved comfort and the ability to optimize at home oral health care.
